Your own book of business: private hire and chauffeur booking software for independent UK operators

Published

Most booking tools ask you to trade a slice of every job, and a piece of the customer relationship, for the privilege of being listed. Zenithly is built the other way round. The booking page is yours. The customer is yours. The fare is yours, and it is paid straight into your own account. There is no marketplace commission in the middle.

This is private hire and chauffeur booking software for independent UK operators, from single-car sole traders to small firms, who want to run their own business rather than feed someone else's platform.

Payment goes to you, not through a middleman

Marketplaces typically take a commission on every job and hold the money until they decide to release it. Zenithly does neither. Card payment is taken as a direct charge into your own connected Stripe account. The funds land in your balance. You choose whether to take a deposit or the full fare upfront, anywhere from ten per cent to the whole amount. Your customer pays you, on a page that carries your name, for a price you set. There is no marketplace commission on the fare.

A smart fare engine, not a rate card

A customer who wants a price at eleven at night will not wait for you to reply in the morning, and you cannot safely work out a quote while you are on a job. Zenithly gives the customer an instant online quote from a fare engine you control, so an enquiry becomes a paid booking while you are still driving the last one.

The engine works out the price from your own rules: distance rates that are route aware, fixed fares for airport runs, and fixed prices for the destinations you name, such as a hotel or a venue. It handles hourly and daily hire alongside point to point transfers, and it applies your unsocial hours rate automatically when a job falls in the window you set. Journey time is traffic aware, so the quote reflects the real road, not a straight line on a map. You set the rules once. The engine quotes every customer the same way, day and night.

A booking page that is yours

Your booking page carries your name, your palette, your copy and your imagery. On Executive and Signature it runs on your own domain, so a customer never sees anyone else's brand. Signature carries no platform attribution at all. You control the headline, the landing sections, the vehicle galleries and the trust signals, so the page reads as your firm, because it is.

Records that stand up to scrutiny

Independent operators still have to keep proper records, and Zenithly keeps them for you. You hold a register of your vehicles and drivers, and against each booking you record the vehicle that did the job, the driver, and the driver's PHV licence number. Those details are for your records only and are never shown to the passenger. When you need to produce your book, every tier can export the full booking record as a CSV, on demand, with no cap on what you are entitled to see.

Everything else the job needs

The platform runs the rest of the operation without fuss.

Taking bookings. Customers book online through the four step wizard, and you can also take a booking by phone yourself, set the fare, and send a payment link. Blocked leads are kept in a simple lifecycle so an enquiry that did not convert is not lost.

Managing the day. Set your service radius, airport reach, minimum notice and inter job buffers, and the platform holds to them. Block out time when a vehicle is unavailable. Every booking lands on one screen with the passenger details, the route map, the traffic aware journey time and one tap calendar entries.

Airport work. Every airport booking captures the flight number and terminal where the customer gives them, with a one tap link to check the flight. It records the number and terminal and links out; it does not track flights or monitor delays.

Keeping people informed. Email notifications reach you and the passenger. From the booking screen you can also send the passenger an SMS when you are on your way and when you have arrived at the pickup, so they know where things stand.

Working as a team. Invite the people who help you run the business, with a seat limit, and revoke access when you need to. A record of who was invited and whose access was changed is kept.

Getting found. Download a QR code directly from your dashboard that points at your booking page, as a vector SVG or a 2048 pixel PNG, for business cards, livery and printed material.

Presenting your services. Show the work you do, airport transfers, corporate travel, weddings, events, as a set of cards on your booking page, each with its own description and image, so a customer sees your full range at a glance.

Who it is for

Independent UK chauffeur and private hire operators who would rather own their booking page, their customer and their fare than rent a spot on a marketplace. You keep the brand. You keep the customer. You keep the fare. Zenithly runs the booking and the money in the background, and stays out of the way.

Common questions

What is Zenithly?

Zenithly is online booking and fare software for independent UK chauffeur and private hire operators. It gives you a branded booking page, a fare engine you control, and card payment taken directly into your own Stripe account, without a marketplace between you and your customer.

How can an independent chauffeur take card payments online without a marketplace taking a cut?

With Zenithly, card payment is taken as a direct charge into your own connected Stripe account. The money lands in your balance, not a marketplace's, and there is no marketplace commission on the fare. You set whether the customer pays a deposit or the full fare upfront.

Can customers get an instant quote, or do I have to price every job by hand?

Customers get an instant online quote from a fare engine you set up once. It prices point to point transfers from route aware distance rates, fixed airport fares, and fixed prices for destinations you name, and it handles hourly and daily hire. It applies your unsocial hours rate automatically and reflects traffic aware journey time.

Do I get my own branded booking page?

Yes. The booking page carries your name, colours, copy and images. On Executive and Signature it runs on your own domain, and Signature shows no platform branding at all.

What booking records does Zenithly keep for a UK private hire operator?

You keep a register of your vehicles and drivers, and against each booking you record the vehicle used, the driver, and the driver's PHV licence number. Every tier can export the full booking record as a CSV on demand. These records are for your own use and are never shown to the passenger.

How does Zenithly handle airport bookings and flight details?

For airport bookings it captures the flight number and terminal where the customer provides them, and gives you a one tap link to check the flight yourself.

How do I stop no-shows on airport pickups?

Take payment before the job runs. You can require a deposit or the full fare upfront when the customer books, so an airport pickup is secured rather than a cash-on-arrival gamble. You set the deposit level yourself.

Can I set how much notice I need before a booking?

Yes. You set a minimum booking notice in your dashboard, so a customer cannot book a job at shorter notice than you are willing to take. You also set your service radius, airport reach and the buffer between jobs, and block out time when a vehicle is unavailable, so nothing lands that you cannot honour.

Can I take bookings by phone as well as online?

Yes. Alongside the online booking page, you can enter a booking yourself, set the fare, and send the customer a payment link, all from your dashboard. Enquiries that do not convert are kept in a simple leads list so they are not lost.

Does Zenithly handle hourly hire, or only airport transfers?

Both. The fare engine prices point to point transfers, fixed airport fares, and hourly or daily hire, all from rules you set.

How much control do I have over pricing?

You set the pricing yourself, from your dashboard, and it feeds the customer's quote automatically. Set mileage-based rates, fixed fares for airports and for any custom destination you name, and hourly, half-day and full-day hire rates for a specific vehicle. Whatever you set is what the booking wizard quotes the customer.

Who is Zenithly for?

Independent UK chauffeur and private hire operators who want to own their booking page, their customer relationship and their fare, rather than rent a place on a marketplace. It suits owner operators and small firms who need a professional booking system without handing over commission on every job.

Can I control how my business appears in Google and in shared links?

Yes. You set your own search title and description from your dashboard, or leave them blank and they are written from your business name and page copy. Every booking page also carries local-business structured data, so search engines understand who you are and where you operate. Your live page updates immediately, and search engines pick up the new listing within a few days.

Does the booking page work properly on a phone?

Yes. The booking page is built mobile first, so the customers booking from a phone, which is most of them, get a page that works properly on the device in their hand, from quote through to payment.

How do I get help setting up or running my site?

support@zenithly.co.uk is the address for setup and support questions, and the team responds to operators directly. Your dashboard also carries a full guide covering every setting and how it changes a booking.
